Raghuram Rajan, author of Fault Lines, wins the Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year award.

Lionel Barber, FT editor and chair of the judging panel, praised Fault Lines as a “serious and sober book” for a time when “sobriety is a virtue”.

The book identifies the causes of the crisis in global financial system, describes the possible remedies, but also emphasizes the need for painful reforms to prevent future crises.
