Lionel Barber, FT editor and chair of the judging panel, praised Fault Lines as a “serious and sober book” for a time when “sobriety is a virtue”.
The book identifies the causes of the crisis in global financial system, describes the possible remedies, but also emphasizes the need for painful reforms to prevent future crises.
